"Certificate in World Religions"

This course will prepare participants to be knowledgeable resources within their churches about Islam and Christian-Muslim relations and to assist their fellowships in developing relationships with peoples from different religious and/or cultural backgrounds..

Orientation meeting and mosque tour will be held on August 13, 2016. Students will meet at The Beckett Center at 10:30 a.m. The orientation meeting will last about thirty minutes and will followed by the mosque tour, which will end before lunch. Mosque tours may also be scheduled at other times.

Students complete most work through independent study, and it is recommended that students finish all assignments within four months although deadlines can be adapted on an individual basis. All written work will be sent to Campbell University Divinity School's World Religions and Global Cultures Center, which will issue the certificates to students who meet the requirements of the course.
